The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), in partnership with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), is committed to providing solutions that support employers, workers, and communities in their efforts to achieve economic prosperity. TWC continually seeks innovative ways to support local strategies to expand the Texas economy and create jobs in a globally competitive market place – Sites On Texas 3.0 is one of those solutions TWC provides.

Sites On Texas 3.0 is an online workforce planning and business development tool that is useful in a number of professional fields including those in economic development, workforce training, and demographic research. Sites On Texas 3.0 is currently being used by all 28 Texas Workforce Boards, the Texas Governor’s Office for workforce related research, the Texas Workforce Commission, many Chambers of Commerce, and 2-year and 4-year Higher Education institutions.

The following organizations are eligible receive a discounted license fee of $1,495/yr for a standard license ($1,695/yr for license with dedicated training):
Workforce Development
Economic Development
Planning Commissions / Departments
Chambers of Commerce
Utility Economic Developers
Education Institutions – 2 year and 4 year

Sites On Texas 3.0 provides geographic mapping technology that allows workforce and economic development professionals to effectively collaborate with employers and plan for business expansion, job retention, and workforce training. The technology allows users to access comprehensive demographic information to view labor market and economic data through charts and maps that convey complex statistical information in an easy-to-understand visual format.
